Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and
Grand Opening of
Victory Headquarters for the
Vance Patterson for
U.S. Congress 2012 (NC-11) Campaign

Citizens from all over Burke County and the surrounding area gathered at 11:00am today at 215 Avery Avenue in Morganton, NC to celebrate a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and the Grand Opening of the new “Victory Headquarters” for the Vance Patterson for U.S. Congress 2012 (NC-11) Campaign. Many prominent leaders from the community and representing the state were in attendance in support of Vance Patterson’s efforts to win this Congressional seat, including North Carolina Senator Warren Daniel of Morganton, NC; Dr. Alfred Hamer, Mayor Pro Tem of Morganton, NC; and also the Honorable Wayne Abele and the Honorable Johnnie Carswell, both Burke County Commissioners.

After a ceremonial ribbon cutting on the sidewalk in front of “Victory Headquarters”, sponsored by the Burke County Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Vance Patterson gave a stirring speech about the condition of the economy in western North Carolina, the awesome advantages we have and how we as a people can work together to bring “Jobs and Prosperity- NOW!” to our side of the great state of North Carolina in District 11.

At the conclusion of the event, all in attendance were invited inside of “Victory Headquarters” for a grand tour of the facility and for a delicious lunch provided by several local restaurants.
