With grants from ASPCA, PetSmart Charities, the NC Spay/Neuter fund and donations from the people in our community we have been able to provide 1,585 surgeries from January through August 31st.  Wednesday's transport will add an additional 50 to 60 and the $10 Fall Fix Special will, we hope, provide the incentive needed to have pet owners bring their pets to us now before the next breeding season.

All cats and dogs owned by Haywood County residents are eligible and no income qualification is required.  But -- NC requires us to obtain proof of income at the time of registration because we receive some funds from its program.

We do not limit the number of pets you can register during this special.  If your pet has an up to date rabies vaccination bring your vet's signed certificate with you when you register.  If not, every pet will receive a rabies shot, at no cost to you, at the time of surgery.
