This conference is designed to educate, enlighten and engage hop growers, brewers and other interested parties in the South Atlantic Hops industry.

Friday will consist of bus tours of hop yards, breweries, a malt house and other related businesses, followed by an evening brewery tour in downtown Asheville. The highlight of the brewery tour will be a visit to Catawba Brewing Co. where attendees will enjoy a special conference beer made with local ingredients. Dinner and beer can be purchased on the tour (Friday evening food and beer will NOT be included in registration). Attendees who register for Saturday only are welcome to join us at the breweries on Friday night.

Saturday will consist of educational sessions with a keynote presentation by Scott Jennings, master brewer at the Sierra Nevada Mills River brewery. That will be followed by concurrent sessions with information for beginning and experienced growers. Brewers' opinions of local hops, regional research results, hop cone chemistry, up and coming varieties, and experiences with hop harvesters are just a few of the topics that will be covered. There will be a tradeshow and poster session and lunch is included.

Friday and Saturday registrations can be purchased separately. There are also opportunities for sponsors and exhibitors. Check out the details on our Eventbrite page and register today!
