"Fired up" for Obama

Among a collage of pictures of family and loved ones above the cash register at Eagle’s Nest Grocery, one 4 x7 picture has a way of attracting attention.

In the snapshot, storeowner’s Paulette and Kelly Camp pose between President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

It serves as a proud souvenir from back in May, when the couple won a contest to have one-on-one time talking with the Obamas.

As a staunch Democrat and passionate supporter of Obama, Paulette is now using her business as a way to rally customers to register to vote.

With a “Register to vote here” sign prominently placed on the doors, she usually gives customers a chance to notice the picture before chatting to them about politics and sharing her experience of meeting the Obamas.
