'A Christmas Carol' continues to Dec. 16

The Haywood Arts Regional Theater’s  production of "A Christmas Carol" continues through Dec. 16. The ghosts are the stars of the story, and in this production they are envisioned as something truly special. Jacob Marley will appear like a floating octopus of chains and money boxes, the ghost of Christmas past will appear clothed in twinkling lights, Christmas present will lead a mass of carolers from scene to scene, and the ghost of Christmas yet to come will fill the entire stage.  A massive four poster bed will be Scrooges chariot taking him from place to place, time to time.

“A Christmas Carol” has performances at the HART, 250 Pigeon St., in Waynesville on  at 7:30 p.m. Dec  14, and 15 and at 3 p.m. Dec. 16  and at 2 p.m. Dec. 15.Tickets for evening performances are adults, $20, seniors $17 and students $7. Discounted tickets to matinees are adults $16, seniors $14, and students $6.
