Come enjoy a feast prepared by Chef Josh at The Chef's Table in Waynesville on October 2nd to benefit the animal welfare programs of Haywood Spay/Neuter. Dr. Anne Bayer, Medical Director at Asheville Humane Alliance, our region's premier high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter hospital, will be speaking. Choose between vegetarian pasta, grouper, or chicken for an entree in this three-course meal, which features primarily locally-sourced food. Tickets are $50 per person and can be ordered by calling Haywood Spay/Neuter at 828.452.1329 or drop by the office at 182 Richland Street, Waynesville, from Tuesday through Saturday, 12 to 6 p.m. Haywood Spay/Neuter has assisted over 1,600 dogs and cats be fixed this year for little to no cost. The organization also has an active Community Cat program and works to improve animal welfare in Western North Carolina.
