In Loving Memory

CANTON — Adeline Jane Mease Ballard, 71, of Asheville Road, in Canton, and a former resident of Asheville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at her home, with her loving daughter, Stephanie, at her side.

Mrs. Ballard was born Aug. 21, 1941, in Haywood County to the late Grover C. Mease and the late Jessie Williams Mease.  She grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader and Adeline made many friendships that created special memories that she cherished throughout her lifetime.   She was indeed a lovely young lady, and her beautiful red hair and her unforgettable smile were admired by everyone.
