Every year the Haywood County Public Library provides a special Summer Reading Program for children in our community. This year, the library is pleased to offer an Adult Summer Reading Program! Please join us in our first Adult Summer Reading Program!

The adult program will begin on Monday, June 3rd. For those who sign up on that day, they will receive a very nice Haywood County Library canvas book bag! We will be playing bingo. Once participants complete their bingo cards, they will get a gift. Prizes include thermal lunch bags, canvas book bags, reading journals and gift certificates for Blue Ridge Books and News.

The program will end on a "sweet" note with a dessert social on Friday, July 19 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Waynesville library. Participants are invited to drop in when its convenient to turn in thier cards and pick up their prize. We will have more details available soon at all library branches, and on our website at www.haywoodlibrary.org.
