Advocates for older adults work on priorities to present to General Assembly
Raleigh — The North Carolina Senior Tar Heel Legislature (STHL) convened in Raleigh to study resolutions that will be presented to the STHL full body in October for vote on what will become their top five priorities. This year, delegates from each county offered the legislature nearly 60 resolutions to consider. Members of six issues committees must decide which resolutions will be most appropriate for the STHL. Voting members will choose five priorities. These priorities will then be presented to members of the North Carolina General Assembly to consider during the 2013 session.
