All that is to come this year
Folks, we are nearing another school year. I know the working adult life won't change all that much, but for students like me, a whole wave of things to do is coming.
I only have a few weeks of summer left. I'm not asking for sympathy in this article, because I don;t have it horrible or anything, I'm just sharing.
Starting August 1, I will be a camp coulselor for WCU's Cat Camp for incoming students. I attended the camp last year, and had a good time, so when offered an opportunity to counsel, i snatched it up. I'll be out for 10 days counseling 2 seperate groups and trying to prepare them for college life. That'll be fun, And I'm sure I'll be blogging about that adventure on here.
Then after that, I head back to campus merely a week later. Then you know, all that school stuff. All of the classes, all of the studying, all of the work and on top of that I have to get a small job to be able to afford to live. I know it's not that serious, but we all need money.
Fortunately, I have alot going for me up there. I'll be rooming with one of my good friends, and have 2 other friends as suitemates. I'll be Vice President of the WCU Comic Book Club, which is a great timekiller, becuase I love comics. And of course, I'll be heading back with my girlfriend, whom I am very, very, very, very happy with.
I am a journalism student at WCU with a minor in art, so all of my classes will revolve around that. This is also my last year at WCU, and ironically only my 2nd year. So I will enjoy the time I have, before i enter the adult working world.
