Alley Kats Tavern, 154 Hemlock St., Waynesville, will hold a grand opening and kick-off celebration from 4 p.m. Friday, April 5 to to 2 a.m. April 6. There will be a barbecue plate with sandwich, baked beans, and cole slaw, plus live music with The Darren Nicolson Band starting at 8:30 p.m. Tickets available at Alley Kats for $12 to $15 at the door.
A 50/50 drawing will be held to benefit PlottFest to support the Haywood County Head Start. For information, call 226-1657.
