As part of its SOS — Altrusa Supports Our Soldiers — community service project, Altrusa International of Waynesville is collecting supplies to send to troops overseas.   Donations of requested items would be most welcome by the public.  Altrusa is also accepting cash/check donations to purchase supplies.

Donations may be dropped off during business hours through Monday, Nov. 12^, at the following locations in Waynesville — Old Town Bank (2045 S. Main St.), Home Trust Bank (800 Russ Ave.), Kitchen Décor (746 S. Haywood St.), Edward Jones/Lisa Ferguson (387 N. Main St.), Kim’s Pharmacy (366 Russ Ave.) or Main Street Realty (101 S. Main St).
