It’s official.
The Haywood County Post 47 Dragoons Baseball Club got the news it has been waiting for these past couple of months.
Post 47 has been extended an official invitation to be a member of the North Carolina American Legion Baseball Area IV West Division for the upcoming 2013 season.
American Legion baseball is coming to Haywood County.
Now we will start aggressively raising funds, buying uniforms and equipment, selecting players, a manager, his coaching staff and putting all the pieces of the organizational puzzle together.
The Post 47 Baseball Advisory Board is currently in negotiations to have the capabilities of a radio broadcast of all homes games.
We do know for a fact a schedule is forthcoming and the Dragoons’ home ballpark for the summer of 2013 will be Tuscola’s baseball ...
