Take the time to remember the stories of those who have died in drunk and drugged driving related crashes in the past year at An Evening of Remembrance at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.

The annual event and candlelight vigil will take place in the Ferguson Auditorium on the campus of AB Tech at 340 Victoria Road, Asheville.

Speakers will include William Anderson, chief of the Asheville Police Department, Cpt. Kenneth Kubas with the NC State Highway Patrol, Don Nail, director of the NC Governor's Highway Safety Program, Chris Hess, assistant district attorney for Buncombe County, Ellen Pitt with MADD WNC and more. A reception with refreshments will follow.
