Angel tree helps children

The Mountaineer staff members did some Christmas giving this month with a holiday angel tree. Staff at the newspaper met the goal of donating gifts to 22 Haywood County children, with “Project Christmas Love,” a program through Haywood Christian Ministry. The gifts will be distributed to children in need in the county.
