Mother, Grandmother, Friend

Ann Briggs Edwards, 68, of Canton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at her home, as the tears of the angels fell from Heaven.

Ann was born Jan. 27, 1944, in Huntsville, Alabama, to the late Oather Richard Briggs and Lillian Zora Cook Briggs.

Ann was a strong, stern-willed and compassionate lady. Through pain and illness she never stopped caring for her family and friends, always putting their needs above her own.  Throughout her life she constantly made personal sacrifices to ensure those she loved had everything they needed or wanted.
