SHELBY — Mrs. Anna Jean Lovin Hall, 77, made her way home Wednesday March 6, 2013, after a courageous battle. Born April 8, 1935, in Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Martha Lovin. In addition, to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Hall; a son, Sammy Hall; two brothers, Joe Lovin and John Lovin; and a sister, Sarah Lovin.

She was a volunteer for Hospice Rutherford County, devoted member to her church, The Church of the Brethren, and had a tremendous love for birds, animals and flowers of all kind.

Anna is survived by her children, Janna Lynn Trantham and husband, Keith, of Canton and Daniel Gene Hall ,of Shelby; a sister, Carolyn Kelley Stephenson, of Canton; a devoted caregiver, Mike Whited; and her loving pets, “Buddy” ...
