APICS meeting is March 20
The Asheville-WNC APICS Chapter and Project Management Professionals in the Carolinas will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at WCU’s Biltmore Park campus at 28 Schneck Parkways, Suite 300, Asheville.
The presentation will be “Power Up Your Productivity” and will show how to maximize individual and group productivity by harnessing and implementing the power of Organizational Personality Types.
The guest speaker will be Paula McGarrell, the founder and co-owner of You Time Solutions, a family of several specialized concierge brands aimed at helping busy people find more time and get more done at home, at work, or during a crunch time.
Those who have taken the Meyers-Briggs personality assessment at one point in their careers have figured out their official personality type. This test is supposed to inform those who take it of compatible careers or relationship karma. Everyone has a distinct personality that dictates the way they interact with the world around.
But what about Organizational Personalities? Is it possible that people also have a personality type (or individual style) related to the fundamentals of processing information and systems?
This workshop will examine and help participants discover their Organizational Personality Type and what it means for the way they should be processing information, managing projects and setting up systems.
Learn key points to maximize productivity — even when working in environments that are not ideal for a specific type — discover how to identify the various organizational types in team members and employees and learn how to implement these strategies to increase productivity.
