The 2014 season of Art After Dark, presented by the Waynesville Gallery Association, kicked off to a rousing start Friday, May 2. Downtown Waynesville was a bustle of activity with demonstrations, live music and artist receptions.

Participating galleries this years included Haywood County Arts Council’s Gallery 86, Earthworks, The Jeweler’s Workbench, Twigs and Leaves Gallery, TPennington Art Gallery, Grace Cathey Sculpture Garden and Gallery, Cedar Hill Studios and the Village Framer.

This year, The Mahogany House and Art on Depot joined in the fun, bringing crowds to Frog Level.

Several artists were in attendance Friday night, meeting and greeting gallery guest and discussing their art.

The next Art After Dark will take place Friday, June 6.
