By Haywood County Chamber of Commerce | Mar 06, 2013

The Haywood Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for artists and crafters – as well as craft demonstrators – for the 25th annual Haywood County Apple Harvest Festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2013 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Historic Main Street Downtown Waynesville.

This, the Silver Anniversary, promises to be the best year yet! The one-day festival has grown into the region’s premier arts and crafts event and celebration of all things apple. In addition, the festival includes food vendors of all types, educational and information booths, authentic mountain music and dance groups and a children’s fun area.

Attendance at the Apple Harvest Festival is estimated at 40,000. The deadline for applications is August 30. Booth space assignments for the festival will be announced after October 4.  Applications are available from the Chamber of Commerce by visiting or by calling 828-456-3021.

The Haywood County Apple Harvest Festival is presented by the Greater Haywood Chamber of Commerce, the Haywood County Extension Service and the Haywood County Apple Growers.
