Arts, crafts vendors needed for PlottFest

May 06, 2014

PlottFest, a fundraising event to benefit Head Start of Haywood and Jackson counties, is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. Organizers are accepting applications for artists, crafts people and local producers of farm products and flowers. Items of handcrafted artistry and quality and that are original and authentic products are desired.

In its third year, this well-attended event features widely popular, local bands such as Balsam Range, Eddie Rose and Highway 40, and others. There are children’s activities, and North Carolina’s state dog, the Plott Hound, will be presented in sanctioned bench shows and various dog contests.

A 10’x10’ outdoor booth space for both days is $45, plus $10 for electricity, if needed.
