Pisgah High School's Bach to Broadway will bring one of Disney's most popular musicals to the stage this weekend with Beauty and the Beast.

This timeless musical story will be played out with all the characters in animated costumes singing and dancing to familiar songs such as "Be Our Guest," "Home," "Gaston," and of course, "Beauty and the Beast."Most of the character roles are double cast to allow more students to share the spotlight.

The music for "Beauty and the Beast" is written by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.

Bach to Broadway is a class offered to students during the spring semester of each year, allowing them a chance to star in a musical. In the past, Bach to Broadway has performed "Grease," "Into the Woods," "Willy Wonka," and many more.
