Coats collected for students in Haywood County Schools.

Haywood County Schools was recently the recipient of a heart-warming gift from the Baptist Men's Association.

Many churches in Haywood County partnered together to do a county-wide coat drive. The coats will be given to students in need to help keep them warm during the winter months.

Joe Cassada led the many volunteers to collect over 650 coats to be distributed and collected over $400 to be used to purchase coasts. Mr. Cassada and the Baptist Men worked countless hours to ensure that many of our students would not go without a coat this winter.

Michelle Mull, Haywood County Schools Social Worker said, "We would like to thank every person, Sunday school class and church that contributed to make the 2013 coat drive an overwhelming success."
