Barbara A. Burch
In Loving Memory
WILLISTON, South Carolina/CANTON — Barbara A. Burch, 70, of Hollywood, Florida, formerly of Williston, South Carolina, passed away Nov. 26, 2016, in Hollywood, Florida, where she was living with her son, Michael Burch, and partner, David Mcknight.
Barbara will always be known as a generous, kind, patient and accepting person that didn’t pass judgment on others, but rather accepted people for who they were, just the way they were. She was always willing to help others in need and would do so privately, not expecting anything in return. She treasured moments with people and the time spent with family and friends.
Her gratitude for even the smallest of things was one of her best qualities. She passed those qualities down through the generations of our family. In addition, her willingness to be silly and just have fun; those were a few of many of her most endearing qualities. Her laughter was contagious and she enjoyed all things that made others laugh and that would put a smile on someone’s face.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Burch; and a daughter, Kellie Burch Ingram.
Surviving are her sons, John Michael Burch and his partner, David McKnight, and Clay Burch; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Joyce Dixon; granddaughters, Kate Ingram and Madeline (Jacques) Ingram LeCour; son-in-law, Mark Ingram; great-grandchild, Archer Edward Ingram LeCour.
As Barbara would say, "Love you, have pretty dreams, see you tomorrow.”
The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, March 18, at Rockwood Methodist Church in Canton. There will be graveside burial immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Barbara’s name to your favorite charity; perform an act of kindness; or tell someone you love them.
