With the Lord

ASHEVILLE — Barbara Mehaffey Anderson, 67, went on to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the John F. Keever Solace Center.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Haywood County and was a daughter of the late D.I. and Lois Smathers Mehaffey. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Dixie Ensley and Louise Shelton and brothers, D.I. "Bud" Mehaffey, Jr., and Clyde Mehaffey.

Mrs. Anderson worked as a Quality Control Auditor at Gerber, and she was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church.

Leaving behind her husband, Roger Anderson; son, Mike Anderson (Virginia) of Oak Island; daughters, Kimberly Reynolds (Brian) of Fairview, and Kina Brake (Robbie) of Asheville; step-daughter, Karon Matthews (Tim); grandchildren, Justin James of Charlotte, Mitchell Anderson of Wilmington, ...
