BBBS corn hole tournament a success

The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Haywood County hosted its first Corn Hole tournament Sept. 29, at Headwaters Brewing in Waynesville.  Since the tournament was a success, bringing in $1,000 for BBBS, the group plans to make it an annual event.

BBBS is grateful to Kevin Sandefur of Headwaters Brewing Company for hosting the event and Nathan and Michaela Blanton Lowe, who helped facilitate the tournament.   Heidi Dunkelberg, of the Coffee Cup Café, donated food platters and gift certificates for door prizes and tournament winners, and Papa's donated pizza.
