There will be a bbq fundraiser on Saturday, June 2, from 10:30 am to 2 pm at the Waynesville Recreation Center. The cost will $5 per sack lunch. Each lunch will contain a sandwich, chips and a drink. All proceeds will go to the construction costs of the new Waynesville Skate Park.
Construction will begin late summer. The park will be 8,000 square feet and located at the site of the old horse ring on Vance Street in Waynesville.
