Circles of Hope leaders and allies (volunteers) will share stories about their experiences and tell attendants how to get involved.
Later on this month, experience poverty firsthand in a simulation being held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 27 at the First Presbyterian Church in Waynesville.
Many attendants are still needed for the poverty simulation. To reserve your sport, call 828-452-1447 ext. 134.
Circles of Hope helps families get completely out of poverty by achieving economic stability. Volunteers are currently needed to serve as allies, or mentors, to local people who are living in poverty but determined to change their lives.
