Bed bugs are vacation's unwanted souvenir
Vacation season has arrived, and the North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) is urging North Carolinians to be aware of bed bugs as they travel. Because bed bugs can be easily and unknowingly transported home from vacation properties, NCPMA is providing North Carolinians with tips for preventing later bed bug infestations.
One out of five Americans has had a bed bug infestation in their home or knows someone who has encountered bed bugs at home or in a hotel according to the National Pest Management Association (NPMA).
