GREENVILLE, South Carolina — Montgomery-lee Bruce and Jessica Bates, students at Waynesville Middle School and members of Aero Allstar Cheerleading Senior Level 2 cheer team, placed first in the Masquerade Classic competition held at Furman University, Saturday, Feb. 8.
Aero Allstar Cheerleading is the most widely recognized program in WNC, operating out of a 10,000-square foot facility in Flat Rock. All-star cheerleading is a combination of elite tumbling, stunting, jumps, cheer and dance. Aero Allstar’s four teams, including a special needs team, compete at many regional and national competitions throughout the Southeast.
The Senior Level 2 team is coached by Katie St. Jacques and Will Hutchinson.
