The Bethel Half-Marathon and 5K races will be held from 7 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, starting at Bethel Middle School, 630 Sonoma Road.

This is an annual fundraiser sponsored by the Bethel Rural Community Organization.  The fall colors on the trees, the rolling farmlands along the Pigeon River and the cool, crisp weather make this a particularly inviting race event.

The race is sanctioned by the Asheville Track Club and the race times are submitted for the ATC Grand Prix Series. The half marathon is USATF Certified #NC12099PH. The race is scored by chip timing.
