Wrestling Coach Scott Early and the credit union's Noralynn Grindstaff (marketing and communications director) were instrumental in securing a donation from Champion Credit Union to purchase a new Resilite wrestling mat.

“Our kids are really excited about wrestling on the new mat," Early said. "It should be exciting. We value our relationship with Champion Credit Union and are glad that we can partner together to support activities for children in the Bethel community.  This is a very generous gift during difficult economic times, and will be a huge boost for our athletic department."

Grindstaff said she is excited about working with Bethel Middle School.

"One of my favorite parts of my job is working with the schools and the community so we are excited about being able to help,” she said.

Bethel’s wrestling matches are on Monday and Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. in the gym.
