At the end of October BMS students elected their Student Council officers. They are President-Cassie West, Vice-President-Sarah Mullins, Secretary-Leighann Murray, Treasurer-Taylor Rhyne.

Shortly after the election the Student Council got busy collecting non-perishable food for the White Christmas food drive. There was a grand total of 1,418 items collected, which were distributed to Evergreen Packaging and Bethel Rural CommunityOrganization. The 6^th grade donated the most items, and they were treated with a pizza party for their efforts.
