NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA — Betty Ann Jolly Boyce, 82, a resident since her mid 20s, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012. She was born August 5, 1930 to Gilbert and Maggie Jolly in Waynesville.

Betty was a member of Deer Park Baptist Church where she worshiped her Lord and Savior. She worked as a CNA and caregiver up until she was 74 years old. She loved what she did for those she cared for.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her daughter, Debra, and her son, Charles (Chuck). She is survived by her daughter, Delores A. Lipe, and her husband Ken, of McKinney, Texas, and her son, Darrell E. Boyce. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Betty’s wishes were to be cremated, and along with her husband’s ashes, will be inurned in the Ray ...
