Beloved Friend

WAYNESVILLE – Beulah Stokley Ingram, 90, of Waynesville, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Haywood Lodge and Retirement Center.  She was born May 2, 1922, in Cocke County, Tennessee, to the late Royal and Margaret Self Stokley.  She was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church and faithfully served with the children’s ministry.  She was a very accomplished seamstress, enjoyed cooking and caring for others.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Frank Ingram; children, Benny, Gail and Bill; four brothers and four sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are a sister, Nola Henderson; grandchildren, Joyce Padgett, Garland Shelton and Greg Ingram; many special nieces, nephews; and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7,  in the Chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Rev. Alan Davis officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Clyde.

Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Baptist Church, Children’s Ministry, 545 Crabtree Road, Waynesville, NC 28785, or to the residents’ activities fund at Haywood Lodge and Retirement Center, 251 Shelton St., Waynesville, NC 28786.
