‘Birds of Prey’ event is Oct. 3
Doris Mager has educated and entertained audiences around the country for years with her birds of prey show. This summer she lost her beloved Crested Caracara bird, which died after an incredible life of 36 years in captivity. Mager returns at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, to the Waynesville library, with a tribute to Cara, her crested caracara bird.
This event is free and open to the public. Doris will be unveiling her taxidermied Caracara bird at this program, as well as flying her great horned owl, E.T.
