Black Bears roll Panthers, East Henderson

CANTON — The Pisgah varsity volleyball team continued on its roll after defeating Franklin, 3-2 (25-22, 22-25, 17-25, 31-29, 15-10), and sweeping the defenseless Eagles from East Henderson. 3-0 (25-8. 25-9,  25-18) in WNC Athletic Conference action Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
The Black Bears won their sixth consecutive match and improved to 7-1 overall and  2-0 in the WNCAC.
Against Franklin, Pisgah rallied from a 1-2 deficit by tying the match at two after taking the fourth set in dramatic fashion, 31-2, and used the momentum to win the fifth and deciding set.
