ALTAMONT, TENNESSEE — Mr. Bobby Gene Hooper, 67, passed away Saturday Feb.10, 2013. He was a retired businessman, government employee, truck driver and farmer, a Vietnam veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and a member of the New Life Ministry Church in Altamont. He was born in Cruso, March 30, 1945, to Zach and Ruby Rickman Hooper, who preceded him in death, along with his brothers, Merle and Homer Hooper; sisters, Betty Creasman, Thelma Thomas and Carolyn Horstman.

He is survived by his wife, Zelda Deitz Hooper; daughters, Angie (Chris) Oaks and Cindy (Tommy) Golden; grandchildren, Chelsea, Erica, Cheyenne and Camden; brother, Sammy (Janice) Hooper; and loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Mack Hampton ...
