BRCO meeting is March 14

BETHEL — Bethel Rural Community Organization will feature Kray Sloan of Sloan’s Plant Farm at the Tuesday, March 14, meeting at Bethel Presbyterian/Encouraging Word Baptist Church, 664 Sonoma Road, Waynesville.

The pot-luck supper begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program and short business meeting at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend and bring a dish that goes well with an Easter-themed ham dinner.

Sloan and her husband, Johnny, have 38 years of experience in operating the successful greenhouse business in Bethel. She will convey some of her special knowledge about planting and cultivating with members and visitors.

BRCO is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to the betterment of the people and rural environment of Bethel. The organization has an active benevolence and food pantry operation that focuses on the needs of local citizens.
