Waynesville:   Daydreamz Project, a non-profit organization that promotes healing of domestic violence, sexual assault and dating abuse through the arts, is requesting that survivors and their family and friends please participate in the “Ripples of Hope” campaign by expressing their feelings about domestic violence, sexual assault or dating abuse on a blank teardrop cutout. The artistic expressions, whether poetry, prose, drawings, paintings or decorations of any type, which can be anonymous, will then be placed on posters and the posters displayed at various galleries and venues throughout Haywood County during the month of October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month. “Ripples of Hope” is a collaboration of Daydreamz Project, Earthworks Frame Gallery, REACH of Haywood, 30^th Judicial District Alliance and the Haywood County Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault/ Elder Abuse Task Force. The deadline for submissions is October 1.
