Calvin Taylor golf tourney is Oct. 27

The 11th Annual Calvin Taylor Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held with a 10:30 a.m. shotgun start Saturday, Oct. 27, at Springdale Country Club (U.S. 276 S, in Canton). Proceeds will benefit the Calvin Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The format will be a four-person scramble, and the tournament will be limited to 144 players.

The $60 entry fee includes greens fee, cart, range balls, morning biscuits and coffee and a box lunch. Call 648-7920 to sign up.
