HOPEful Living: Women's Cancer Support Group welcomes all interested women to its meeting from 5:30-7:00 p.m., Tues., May 21, 2013, at MedWest-Haywood Fitness Center, classroom A.

Sarah Gayle, American Cancer Society spokesperson, will speak about their Cancer Prevention Study in Haywood County.  The ACS's Epidemiology Research Program is inviting men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 years who have no personal history of cancer to join this historic research study. The ultimate goal is to enroll at least 300,000 adults from various racial and ethnic backgrounds from across the U.S.  By joining CPS-3, you can help us understand how to prevent cancer, which will save lives.  If you are interested in participating in the study, contact Sarah at Sarah.Gayle@cancer.org.

HOPEful Living offers support to those facing a cancer diagnosis.  New members are always welcome.  There is HOPE and joy along the journey to wellness.

Cancer patients, survivors and caregivers are welcome.  We meet the 3rd Tues. of each month.  No need to RSVP; but if you have questions, please contact Sandi Riggs at 627-9666 or riggs_sandi@msn.com or Rina Steffel @ 926-3138.
