This year's annual Canton Christmas parade, themed 'Christmas in Dixie,' will feature IBMA award-winning band Balsam Range as Grand Marshal.
The town is expecting more than 100 entries in the longtime running parade, which was the first night-time Christmas parade in the area. There will be a mixture of commercial and homemade floats including entries from churches, high schools, businesses, civic and community groups.
