Canton man stabbed in dispute

A Canton man was seriously injured after he was stabbed multiple times in the head during a domestic dispute late Tuesday night, police say.

The stabbing occurred at 2 Sharptown Road, Canton around 10:30 p.m.

Robert Benajmin Hannah Jr., 38, has been charged with felony forced entry burglary and two counts felony aggravated assault inflicting serious injury.

Det. Shawn Gaddis with the Canton Police Department said Hannah went to the house where his ex-girlfriend was and attacked the man she was with. He also cut the woman. The victims were treated and released from Med-West Haywood.

The case is still under investigation with more information to come as it becomes available.
