Canton observes National Day of Prayer May 2

Everyone is invited to the Canton area National Day of Prayer Service at noon Thursday, May 2, in front of the Canton Museum at 36 Park St., in Canton.  The brief service will be led by several area pastors and dignitaries, including the Rev. Dan Page, pastor of Crestview Baptist Church, the Rev. Jason Miller, pastor of Dutch Cove Baptist Church, the Rev. Mark Caldwell, pastor of North Canton Baptist Church, Jimmy Rogers, member of the Haywood County School Board and Canton First Baptist Church, Jim Bromeley, businessman and member of Central United Methodist Church, and Canton Mayor Mike Ray.  All are invited to pray for the nation.
