CANTON — The Canton Little League 10-and-under softball all-stars really don’t mind following in their sister 12-and-under all-star’s shoes.
Three days after the CLL team won the 12U District 5 softball championship, the 10U all-stars defeated Jackson County, 3-1, to win the D5 crown at the International Sports Complex Monday night.
The Canton 10U all-stars, which improved to 6-0, will play in the North Carolina Little League 10U Softball Tournament, beginning Monday July 16, in Forest City.
