Car crashes through Haywood Christian Ministry

At approximately 1:25 p.m. today, a driver attempting to park outside the Haywood Christian Ministry thrift store accidentally lurched forward — and through the shop's window. The vehicle, driven by an elderly Clyde resident, came to a rest entirely inside the store. Two people were injured and taken to the hospital, but apparently the injuries were not life threatening. HCM has been closed for the day, though it plans to open tomorrow.
