EVERETT, WASHINGTON — Carolyn Hooper Horstman, 72, of Everett, Washington, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 30, 2012 at her brother’s home in Cruso.
A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Zack Homer Hooper and Ruby Rickman Hooper. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Horstman. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Jacksonville, Florida, and had a passion for nature and photography.
Surviving are her sons, Charles McHaffey of Pineville, Kentucky, Jeffery McHaffey of Pampa, Texas, and Gary McHaffey of Billings, Montana; daughter, Kathy McHaffey of Billings, Montana; brothers, Samuel Hooper and wife, Janice of Cruso, Bobby Hooper and wife, Zelda of Altamont, Tennessee, and a wonderful grandchild.
A private graveside service will be held in Tennessee.
