Deeply Missed

CANTON — Johnsie Carroll Capps Jr., 70, of 439  Hilltop Farm Road, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Capps was born Jan. 11, 1943, in Buncombe County. He resided most of his life in Haywood County and was  a self-employed “ handyman,” who was always in great demand for his talented work. Mr. Capps honorably served in the North Carolina National Guard.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Carroll loved to work in his garden and  "treasure hunt" at  flea markets.  He loved his family deeply, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him great joy throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnsie Carroll Capps.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Faye Plemmons ...
