The Commission for a Clean County is sponsoring its annual awards program to recognize businesses, community/civic groups, schools and adults and children of school age who show commitment to a clean and healthy environment. The recognition categories include litter control, recycling, community beautification, and environmental stewardship such as green building and use of alternative fuels.

Nominations may be for any of the groups named above or for oneself. To nominate one or more candidates, complete a brief entry form available from the CCC.

Impartial judges selected from the community, along with the CCC executive board members, will read all applications, make “site” visits to finalists and select all winners.  All winning entrants will be selected based on the success of efforts, ...
